Mobil Pegasus 1 is a super-premium quality synthetic gas engine oil intended to meet the highest performance requirements of the most demanding turbocharged stoichiometric and lean-burn gas engines. It is formulated from wax-free synthetic base fluids and a superior additive system to provide performance which is unattainable with conventional mineral oil-based gas engine oils. This formulation minimizes ash deposits, top land carbon, liner scuffing and valve seat wear. It has outstanding resistance to oxidation and its inherently high viscosity index and molecular structure ensure a protective lubricant film at high temperatures well above the limit for mineral oil based products.
